The aims of, and reasons for, the constitution are:

 1.       To set out clearly the basic charitable/not for profit nature of MAD Group;

2.       To provide a clear operational framework:-

a)       for the activities and actions of the Group; Committee and Officers, and;

b)       for the management and resolution of any disputes covering matters including;

                                                               i.      MAD Group activities

                                                             ii.      Membership status of individuals within MAD, and;

                                                            iii.      Actions of individual members.

The document provides a framework, or guidelines for action, rather than detailed instructions, and should be read in that light. All reasonable suggestions for changes will be considered carefully by the Committee and adopted/incorporated as appropriate.
